Position: Superintendent

Duration: Full-time position commencing immediately

Rate of Pay:  A spacious apartment (free) and salary is dependent upon applicant's experience and skills.

Hours per week: 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday On-call duties (every 2nd week)

Job Description:

To perform all Superintendent duties for high-rise apartment building. The position is responsible for all repairs assigned by the Property Manager. These tasks include:

Plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, painting and apartment cleaning during turnover procedures, drywall repairs, general maintenance and cleaning in common areas, changing of garbage bins, responding to all tenant emergencies during on-call procedures and miscellaneous apartment repairs including refrigerators and stoves.

Qualifications:

Prior superintendent experience (preferably in rental apartment industry); strong skills in plumbing and electrical repairs, knowledge of the heating and domestic hot water systems; a self starter and motivated individual; courteous customer service.
